National Account Manager Loblaws

Our client is seeking a seasoned, Loblaws National Account Manager, who has the insight and experience to build out Loblaws as a major customer.

Our client, a North American leader in branded and private label food imports is now in market searching for their next National Account Manager, calling on Loblaws. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the NAM will be responsible for the following areas:

Develop and implement annual business plans to achieve sales, share and profit goals and priorities consistent with branded and corporate strategies

Develop and sustain cross-functional working partnership with Loblaws buyers in retail, private label and grocery, to ensure best-in-class partnership

Work collaboratively with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and other internal stakeholders, to identify, develop and execute joint business plans

Achieve strategic execution targets for assigned retail, private label & grocery brands, with emphasis on maximizing product volume and margin contribution

Leverage insights to influence customer category strategy and decision-making

Responsible for overall financial management of Trade Spend, Deductions, Markdowns and Slotting budgets

Coordinate and communicate all relevant account program information for retail sales team to support(merchandising, distribution, pricing, planograms)

Other:

7-10 years of Consumer Food, Retail Experience

7-10 years calling on LCL Exceptional planning skills

Keen insight into Loblaws planning and buy process

Trade Marketing skills ideal

Understanding Private Label business an asset

P&L experience an asset

Compensation:

Above market base salary, competitive STIP / bonus structure, car allowance

Location:

This is a Hybrid position with an expectation of three days per week in office.
